Turnkey Investment

Experimax® is a Proven Business.

Turnkey Investment

With a franchise, you don’t have to start your business from scratch. Plus as part of the United Franchise Group family of businesses, Experimax offers you a proven business model that doesn’t only come with a reasonable cell phone repair franchise cost but also with exceptional support and guidance.

We provide comprehensive training programs, teaching you the ins and outs of the industry. You may have worked for years in a corporate office and probably have the right business skills — we just need to hone them to suit the demands of the tech market.

We also assist with selecting the site location, building out your new store, and marketing it to the local customers. Our field staff will also come to your location and provide hands-on training during the first two weeks of your operations. Our entire team does its best to ensure you are set up with the tools you need to hit the ground running.

You don’t have to be a tech industry expert to be a successful Experimax store owner. You must simply have the business sense, entrepreneurial spirit, and capital to get started with this turnkey investment. We’re here to back you up, after all.

Franchise Fee

Ready to sign the Franchise Agreement? We need one more thing from you: initial franchise fee. Paying the initial franchise fee of $49,500 means you can start taking advantage of all the Experimax concept and the United Franchise Group have to offer.

In return for the franchise fee, you’ll be able to take advantage of many resources, such as assistance with selecting a store site. Our territory analysis can help you decide on the best location for your Experimax store.

You get advice about financing and leasing equipment, as you need to settle these two things before opening the doors of your store to the public. We provide access to marketing and other brand materials, helping you get the word out about your new store.

You also get access to all the technical and operational information about the Experimax brand — everything you need to know to get your store off to a good start.

Liquid Capital

One of our requirements for new franchisees is to have enough liquid capital. This includes cash, bank accounts, and other easily convertible assets that can support the business in its first few years or until it has gained enough momentum to become profitable.

Before we offer our franchise agreement, we ask for certain documents to see your financial capability. We value the Experimax brand, and want to entrust it to the hands of capable and well-qualified franchisees.

We expect new Experimax franchisees to have at least $50,000 in liquid capital. This capital will be used to cover employee salaries and other expenses such as inventory costs and equipment leases, especially at the onset. With this amount, you’ll be ready to enter a tech business venture.

Even if you have enough liquid capital, though, we advise you to secure financing. This way, you have access to higher capital. Often, the amount of capital accessible to the franchisee is a strong determinant of their success in the first few years of business operations.

Technology Franchise Investment

You should be ready to invest $136,000 to $277,000 for an Experimax store. This figure includes the initial franchise fee, liquid capital, site lease, and other necessary expenses.

The actual amount of your investment depends on several factors. These include the location and size of your store, the number of employees, and the actual costs of supplies and equipment. But we’re here to determine a ballpark figure, so you can prepare more accurately.

We go over the details of the estimated investment cost with you. Let’s discuss further whether you have enough funds to support your store on its first few years of operation.

And in case you need assistance with funding and equipment leasing, we have a team that can guide you. We make sure you’ve got everything you need to hit the ground running.

Experimax® Royalty Fees

Experimax® royalty fees are very reasonable and competitive with other franchises, at 6% of gross sales revenue. Royalty fees help to cover the costs of continuous research and development that is so important to running a successful business in the technology field. Royalty fees also help to pay for the costs of ongoing support and all of the other benefits that Experimax® franchisees receive for being part of the United franchise group family.

Franchise Marketing/Advertising Fund

A nominal monthly fee of $500 or 1% of sales is required of all Experimax® franchisees. The advertising fund utilizes the “strength in numbers” benefit of being part of a franchise family. Dollars are spent on a national level, benefiting all franchise locations equally, ultimately aiming to drive local traffic to stores. The fee is collected and managed by the ad fund board, which consists of elected franchisees, not corporate employees. This allows for franchise owners to focus on what they do best, leaving most of the marketing heavy-lifting to fully vetted marketing professionals.
